Mr. Book just finished Red And Blue: Examining The Wonderful Life Of Red Adams, by Eric Adams.
This is a brief biography of Red Adams. Adams was a career minor league pitcher before he spent 11 years as a Dodgers scout and then 12 years as Dodgers pitching coach under Walt Alston and then Tommy Lasorda. It was an interesting book, but nothing was really there to distinguish itself. So, I give this book a B. Goodreads requires grades on a 1-5 star system. In my personal conversion system, a B equates to 3 stars. (A or A+: 5 stars, B+: 4 stars, B: 3 stars, C: 2 stars, D or F: 1 star).
